The Vex IQ Next Level Challenge hosted by Gulfport Central Middle School took place Saturday, December 15th. Students from Pass Christian Middle School’s Vex IQ Competition teams, under the guidance of PCMS teachers, Brandon Warden, Lori Fisher, and Michele Rogers, took part in the competition. The students' hard work paid off as all three of the school’s competition teams placed in the final top ten of the 48 participating middle school teams. Team Opportunity brought home the Design Award for demonstrating the ability to implement the most effective and efficient robot design process. Team Curiosity took home the Excellence Award. This is the highest award presented in the VEX IQ Challenge and is presented to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in creating a high quality VEX robotics program. Team Opportunity and Curiosity will be heading to State in March.
