Principal's Message

Welcome to Pass Christian Middle School! The Pass Christian Public School District is accredited by Cognia and the State of Mississippi. This places our district in the top 1% of districts in the state. We have an amazing faculty and administration with a high percentage of advanced degrees and National Board certification. Pass Christian Middle School was recognized in 2012 as a Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. Pass Christian Middle School student achievement, based on a challenging and rigorous curriculum, has helped our district earn local, state and national recognition.

Middle school years are a time of transition for most students. A time when students leave some things behind as well as a time when students take up new interests as they begin to mature.  We pride ourselves in offering students opportunities to make the most of their interests and encourage students to find their motivation by taking advantage of the multitude of opportunities that extend beyond the classroom like our wide variety of activities, athletics, clubs and the arts. Every student’s motivation is unique and we seek to cultivate the passion in every student. Pass Christian Middle School also serves to meld students from our two elementary schools, Pass Christian Elementary and DeLisle Elementary, as students come together for the first time and meet the newest faces in their shared house systems. Thanks to the house system, students are able to quickly identify fellow students and staff members with common interests, which also helps to alleviate the anxieties of a new school. At Pass Christian Middle School, we strive to provide a safe environment for every student, so they can successfully navigate these transitionary years and springboard towards their post secondary goals.

It is my goal to create an environment where all students feel accepted, valued, and safe. It is only then that we can truly provide a high quality education for all students. Knowing that a child’s education begins long before the student enters a school building, we understand the value of partnerships with parents and community and look forward to working together to help our students be their most successful.

I look forward to having the privilege of working with each of our amazing students, parents, and staff this year, and never forget… Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate!
